JOURNALISM FELLOWSHIP

SJN/MIT Climate Journalism Fellowship: An eight-month program supporting 10 freelance and staff journalists based in the U.S. to report on climate solutions in local and regional outlets. This is a first-of-its-kind partnership, bringing together MIT's scientific, technological, and public policy resources and expertise with the Solutions Journalism Network’s transformational reframing of how climate narratives are told. It includes climate science and communication training from MIT, a SJN Train-the-Trainers focused on climate, an in-person gathering at the Society of Environmental Journalists conference in April, and republication of stories through a partnership with the Public News Service.
