We want to express special appreciation to Fr. Katanga for his many words of comfort, the St. Patrick’s Altar Society for serving a wonderful lunch, Altar servers, Eucharistic Minister, vocalists and to Dahlstrom Funeral Home for their professional arrangements and caring service. Rose will always be remembered for her hospitality and kindness and we will miss her dearly. Family of Rose Martina Welk. (Linton, Emmons County Record)

THANK YOU SEYMOUR—We shouldn’t need an excuse to say thank you to our VOLUNTEER Fire Fighters, but it’s sometimes those occasions that come unexpected that have the most impact in saying THANK YOU! They give up their time without any compensation and are worth their weight in gold. It’s important they know their value and we take this time to express our gratitude to the POLLOCK, STRASBURG and HERREID Fire Departments! We are also surrounded by neighbors/dear friends who sacrificed their time for a cause greater than themselves. God bless you all! “Here’s to all volunteers and friends, those dedicated people who believe in all work and no pay.” “Some find their heroes mid the battles strife; the greatest heroes are in private life.” And we can’t forget to thank the families of the fire fighters who cancel or reschedule plans to patiently wait at home. We are so grateful to you all and God bless you! Rick and Kathy Seymour, Mark and Trista Bates and family, Troy and Tonya Holtey and family. (Linton, Emmons County Record)

We appreciate all your prayers, kind words and food brought to the house and church basement. Ramona’s death was sudden and unexpected and we are so grateful for her wonderful celebration of her 90th birthday just days earlier.
