NDNA Convention Postponed
The North Dakota Newspaper Association annual convention has been postponed amid concerns about COVID-19.
The event was originally scheduled for the second weekend in May. A new date has not yet been set, but the NDNA board will meet next week to consider options. Those options may include a revised format for the annual event, but plans are to reschedule it for the Bismarck Radisson Hotel sometime this summer or fall.
NDNA President Karen Speidel assured members that the full slate of advertising and editorial awards will be handed out, along with the induction of Duane Schatz of Elgin into the NDNA Hall of Fame and the presentation of the Distinguished Service Award to former Grand Forks Herald Publisher Mike Maidenberg.
Further details will be posted as plans are finalized.
